We will explore and find ways how to bring more meditation and presence into our daily activities. This means remembering to stay present; “Self-Remembrance”. Being present enables us to respond rather than to react.
We will inquire into our “blind spots”, the ones that make us habitually react when our “buttons are being pushed”.
We will also work with simple and direct methods to find more grounding and stability in the body that can function as a kind of anchor in daily life situations.
There will be emphasis on entering the energy field of the body. The body can only be in the present moment – unlike the mind that is either in the past or in the future, as we all know.
Inquiry, with a partner or as meditative self-inquiry, will be used as techniques throughout the group process. These tools will be practiced so that participants can use them as ways to deepen their meditation.
Harisharan says: “I will also share some simple but effective breathing techniques that can be used to find focus and clarity in daily activities and also to fall asleep easier. Since I have been playing a wind instrument (trombone) for more than sixty years, understanding breathing has been an important part of my life. Yes! We offer pickups from the nearest airport Billund for 340 DKK, the train station in Horsens for 140 DKK and from the local bus stop in Brædstrup, free of charge. Please let us know in advance, so we can coordinate with our drivers.
