Training for Transformation 8

The Art of Dying and Let Go: Facing What Really Matters

Unless you are ready to die, to let go of the unimportant, you will not be able to live a life that is truly yours.

What is the workshop about?

This course is the last part of the Osho Risk Training and it seems only natural to take a closer look at the issues that arise around the death and dying.

In our daily routine, death seems to be far away. Only when a person close to us dies or when we get confronted with an illness that could be life-threatening we suddenly become aware of the fact that we do not last forever.

There is a shock, fear and panic. It seems that everything we took for granted suddenly could disappear into thin air and all the security we relied on is gone:

‘What is it that really matters for me in this life?’. ‘Why am I here and what is it that I really want?’ The ego with its ambitions, expectations, worries and anxieties starts freaking out.

In this course we take a closer look: ‘Do I live authentically what is there in me that wants to be lived? What am I avoiding – what keeps me busy and distracts from my real longing?

Am I willing to let go – to let go of security and comfort? If this is the end now, what do I regret to have done or not done? Do I really trust the river of life so that it can take me to the ocean? With all these questions we will go through an intense process of meditation. It will create an opportunity to reconsider and listen to our deepest inner truths.

Join a heart-centered community with 35 years of retreat experience

Since 1986, we have been devoted to personal transformation by creating a nourishing space where you feel safe and loved for who you are.

Osho Risk is a not for profit retreat centre, maintained by a community of people living onsite and nearby. We value our own growth and inner maturity and enjoy sharing this with our guests. Our focus is on awareness, inner silence and joy.

Single rooms

We have single rooms available in the newest building at Risk called Rumi House. You will have your own private space and share bathroom with others.

Shared rooms

We also have shared rooms for 2 up to 10 people. Each shared room have personal spaces for each guest. We always try to take care of the quality of your sleep, accommodating guests with similar needs in the same room.

Organic cuisine with gluten and dairy free options

Attuned with the cycles of nature, our meals are prepared with ingredients of each season. We aim to use mainly organic food grown by local farmers. All the eggs we use are provided by the neighbour’s free range chickens.

Our cooks care and understand the dietary needs of our guests and it is important that you communicate if you have any requirement, such as allergies or restrictions. Please let us know in advance so that the kitchen can be prepared.
