Voice Dialogue is a method for contacting, and working with the many sub-personalities, which we all have inside. These could be, for example: the inner critic, the rebel, the controller, the victim, the warrior. You will see how these parts can be a resource or a limitation in your life, looking at how they work together. Most people live a much smaller life than necessary. During this workshop, you can learn to be more spacious and loving with yourself. All of these parts in general operate unconsciously without the presence of a true self or a functioning objective consciousness. This discovery of an essential and true self will help you to see clearly your relationships internally and also externally.
There will also be some work in a new method of inquiry called Internal Family systems. This is a combination of Systems theory and Voice Dialogue. It teaches that as you develop, your parts develop, and they form a complex system of interactions among themselves; so with awareness, when the system is reorganized, parts can change rapidly. You can bring much more clarity and healing to yourself, your life and your relationships. As well as being a great therapeutic tool for use in the professional setting, this work is wonderful to get to know your inner life better and is a door to meditation. |
