Sahaja

Sahaja is an artist and facilitator born in Florence, Italy (July 24, 1973). She holds degrees in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence and in Design from ISIA Florence, with additional studies at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and the Art Students League of New York.

A certified Meera Art Academy teacher and direct student of Meera Hashimoto, Sahaja trained and assisted Meera for six years, also completing the Osho Art Therapist Training in Pune, India. After Meera’s passing, she continued her development with Svagito Liebermeister—co-leading workshops with him for several years – especially deepening in Family Constellations, Trauma Healing, and Zen Counseling.

Sahaja is the author of Roots Painting and brings a rich background in music, dance, and inclusive education. For sixteen years, she taught art in Tuscan high schools under the Italian Ministry of Education, applying a creative and inclusive pedagogy. She continues to design and lead transformative art programs for people of all ages, integrating spirituality, creativity, and therapeutic exploration.

Her approach is intuitive, playful, and deeply rooted in presence. She creates warm, non-judgmental spaces where creativity becomes a gateway to healing, transformation, and self-discovery. Through painting, meditation, movement, and inner inquiry, she invites others to reconnect with their inner truth and express it with freedom and joy.
