What is the workshop about?

A weekend to feel more alive—more joyful from the inside out.

We move, we breathe, we stir the energy—then we bring it into the heart. Something shifts. A new space opens: vibrant, quiet, deeply human.

The Heart connects us with our essential inner qualities—love, joy, trust, courage, adventure, relaxation and many more. When we learn to listen to it, the heart naturally guides us toward a life that feels full, authentic, and joyful.

Yet many of us don’t really know how to connect with the heart—how to feel its presence, or how to bring its qualities into our daily lives. Without that connection, we often react to life rather than respond with awareness and care.

The Heart helps us access our deepest core, opening a doorway to meet life’s challenges as opportunities rather than obstacles. It supports us in creating relationships that are more nourishing and genuine—with ourselves and with others.

One of the Heart’s greatest gifts is its ability to serve as a gateway into meditation, helping us reconnect with our true inner nature through the spaciousness it holds. Space itself is one of its inner qualities, along with its profound sense of non-judgment.

While the mind tends to wander to the past or the future, the heart lives fully in the present moment. Presence and joy are its treasures.

The heart is an incredible inner resource. Becoming aware of it means discovering a new way of perceiving reality—and a more joyful, relaxed way of living each day. It brings us naturally into acceptance, trust, and relaxation.

Together, we’ll experience:

  • Heart-centered meditations
  • Breath-work, dance and movement
  • Energy-based practices to awaken vitality, aliveness, and grounding 
  • Joyful presence and shared connection
  • Practices that support a deeper connection with the energy of the heart

All designed to help you bring joy and heart-fulness into your daily life and spiritual path.

By the end of our time together, you’ll have a clearer, embodied sense of what it means to be connected to your own heart—and to live from qualities like love, trust, compassion, and gratitude.

We have personally experienced how these qualities open the space for more trust, relaxation, and connection—in life and in meditation.

For the past couple of decades, we’ve been deeply supported and trained by our beloved teachers—Leela, Alvina, and Prasad. Since then, the heart has become the foundation of our work and lives, and we are grateful to share its gifts with individuals, couples, and groups.

Date

You are very welcome to arrive before the start date and stay with us as a guest. Many of our participants come before the retreat starts or stay after it finishes.

1600 DKK plus food & accommodation (deposit: 500 DKK)

(Discount of 30% for participants under 30)

We are located in Brædstrup, the heart of the Danish countryside.

Since 1986, we have been devoted to personal transformation by creating a nourishing space where you feel safe and loved for who you are.

Osho Risk is a not for profit retreat centre, maintained by a community of people living onsite and nearby. We value our own growth and inner maturity and enjoy sharing this with our guests. Our focus is on awareness, inner silence and joy.

Single rooms

We have single rooms available in the newest building at Risk called Rumi House. You will have your own private space and share bathroom with others.

Shared rooms

We also have shared rooms for 2 up to 10 people. Each shared room have personal spaces for each guest. We always try to take care of the quality of your sleep, accommodating guests with similar needs in the same room.

Organic cuisine with gluten and dairy free options

Attuned with the cycles of nature, our meals are prepared with ingredients of each season. We aim to use mainly organic food grown by local farmers. All the eggs we use are provided by the neighbour’s free range chickens.

Our cooks care and understand the dietary needs of our guests and it is important that you communicate if you have any requirement, such as allergies or restrictions. Please let us know in advance so that the kitchen can be prepared.

You are very welcome to ask for more information if you have questions about this workshop or just would like to have some support in finding a natural next step on your personal journey. Especially if you are new to Osho or to meditation and/or therapy, it might be nice to have a small chat before deciding to join a process.

Some workshops are labelled “everyone” or “advanced”, which can give you an idea if it is suitable for you.

We suggest you bring:

  • Comfortable clothes for the active meditations, for women a sports bra is recommended for Dynamic Meditation
  • Clothes according to the seasons (even in summer the Scandinavian evenings get chilly)
  • Inhouse shoes or slippers
  • Outdoor walking boots or shoes if you want to explore the surrounding nature
  • Swimsuit (we have lakes and swimming pool nearby)
  • Notepad and pen
  • Your own water bottle to use and refill
  • Earplugs if you are a light sleeper

We encourage that you don’t bring too many “distractions” for yourself.

Then, once we get in touch with you, a deposit must be paid to secure your place. You can pay this by card (Visa, Master, Amex), or bank transfer.

The remaining balance can be paid before the event (card or bank transfer) or upon arrival by card or cash (DKK).

  • In case of cancellation up until one week before the start of the workshop, a cancellation fee of 400 DDK is charged.
  • In case of cancellation within one week before the start of the workshop, the deposit is non-refundable.

Yes! We offer pickups from the nearest airport Billund for 340 DKK, the train station in Horsens for 140 DKK and from the local bus stop in Brædstrup, free of charge. Please let us know in advance, so we can coordinate with our drivers.
