and join us on January...
The true power of love comes from bringing it into contact with others. We may feel a great deal of love in our hearts, but if we keep it to ourselves, it will remain small and weak. If we dare to share it, to take risks in our encounters with others, then it will become strong and great. What does it mean to take risks?
To risk means to dare to show something of ourselves instead of keeping ourselves hidden. When we show our vulnerable sides, we risk being hurt. For example, if I was laughed at as a child when I danced, then that stays with me and I don’t dare to dance in front of others as an adult. Even though the situation is completely different now and I am surrounded by loving people who would like to see me dance. Love will remain small.
Taking risks also means expressing our truth. Then it could happen that we are not loved. For example, if I tell a friend that he has bad breath, he could accuse me of hurting him with my honesty. But he could also be grateful that I dared to do so, because then he suddenly knows why others turn away from him and he can change something about it. The love in this friendship will grow stronger.
Love has power when we can feel and express a clear YES and a clear NO in our encounters. When we can open up and communicate, and when we can set boundaries. When we value ourselves instead of wanting to please others. When we allow ourselves to feel all emotions, even those we consider taboo. And when we find words to communicate instead of falling silent.
We work with proven methods from communication psychology, from the encounter tradition, with the body and with meditation. The workshop is a safe space in which you can perceive and try out yourself. There is no group pressure, but of course an invitation to be open to new experiences.
You are very welcome to arrive before the start date and stay with us as a guest. Many of our participants come before the retreat starts or stay after it finishes.

We are located in Brædstrup, the heart of the Danish countryside.
Since 1986, we have been devoted to personal transformation by creating a nourishing space where you feel safe and loved for who you are.
Osho Risk is a not for profit retreat centre, maintained by a community of people living onsite and nearby. We value our own growth and inner maturity and enjoy sharing this with our guests. Our focus is on awareness, inner silence and joy.
We have single rooms available in the newest building at Risk called Rumi House. You will have your own private space and share bathroom with others.
We also have shared rooms for 2 up to 10 people. Each shared room have personal spaces for each guest. We always try to take care of the quality of your sleep, accommodating guests with similar needs in the same room.
Attuned with the cycles of nature, our meals are prepared with ingredients of each season. We aim to use mainly organic food grown by local farmers. All the eggs we use are provided by the neighbour’s free range chickens.
Our cooks care and understand the dietary needs of our guests and it is important that you communicate if you have any requirement, such as allergies or restrictions. Please let us know in advance so that the kitchen can be prepared.
